Pebblemist's Snaggletooth AJ,AR,AS,AAD,CGC

1995-2011

Misty ran out in front of our truck on a deserted country road as a tiny pup in July of 1995. From what we observed it seems someone dumped a whole litter of them out. We weren't even sure she would live when we saved her. She was so anemic and sick. But live, she did. And what a life! Peanut was sure we had gotten her a puppy and protected Misty fiercely when she was helpless and young. As she matured, she and Peanut were the best of playmates. She was the best hound dog! You could wander with her off-leash in the woods or through the fields and never be worried about her taking off. We were shocked that this happy-go-lucky girl took over as alpha bitch at the house when Pebbles died! She was a wonderful alpha and helped us raise so many great puppies! She was the best pet therapy dog and loved her visits to the nursing homes. Her fur was so soft and her personality so easy that everyone there loved her. She started agility with me when she was middle-aged and although, not the fastest dog out there, she was well known for having a great time and actually listening to me. We have many wonderful pictures of her smiling face on the agility equipment. Her career ended when she was twelve and was plagued by grand mal seizures. We got them under control for several years, but they had started to return near the end.

Run Clean! Run Fast! Run Hard!... with God's speed this time around.
