Pebblemist's Poultry Pilferer AS,AR,AJ,AAD,RM,CGC

1999-2010
Bandit was abandoned by his family at the nearby high school. He eventually made his way to our neighborhood and tried to get into a neighbor's chicken pen where prize chickens were being raised. He made it to our house afterwards and we adopted him. Since he tried to steal the neighbor's chickens, we named him Bandit. He was a happy-go-lucky guy and got along with everyone. He was a lover not a hater. He was my first experience with a dog broken leg. He was also the first dog I ventured into an agility ring with. He Q'd, and I was hooked. He was a trooper through it all. My mother loved for him to come and kill rats living in the brick pile at her house. A great hunter he always was. Yapping at squirrels was his worst failing. A yip I now miss. We lost him fairly quickly. A small bump on his head turned out to be a raging cancer that we could not stop. Even then he never complained. I fed him and took him out to chase squirrels for the last time one afternoon and then we sent him on to be with his best friend, Maverick, before the cancer could take his vision.
May you find an eternal supply of squirrels my Frito Bandito. God Speed!
